Trainor has extensive experience with measurement and documentation of earthing systems in large and complex facilities. We conduct measurements of transition resistance for earth electrodes, ground connections, and resistivity, and document according to regulations and standards. The earth electrode is crucial for safety, and a complete and coherent earthing system is important for ensuring personnel and operational safety in electrical installations. In FEF:2006, FEL, and NEK 440:2022, specific requirements are set for the control of earthing systems. Among other things, important and exposed parts of the earthing system should be periodically inspected, at least every ten years.
