The course starts with an introduction on topics that are relevant to both low-voltage and high-voltage areas, followed by working methods that are specific to low-voltage or high-voltage. The course ends with a module on theoretical first aid.

The course meets the official national requirements for annually updating knowledge related to the operation of electrical installations (FSE) including first aid, but does not cover CPR. It is essential that you receive practical training in CPR (mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compression) in addition to this theoretical course. Personnel must repeat training at least every 12 months; cf. Guidelines to §7 in Operation of Electrical Installations (FSE).
